WILSON COUNTY STUDENTS NAMED TO TTU COLLEGE OF BUSINESS AMBASSADOR TEAMWilson County students Paige Taylor Watson and Caitlin Jones were selected to be part of the College of Business Student Ambassador's team at Tennessee Tech University.
Watson is a junior accounting and marketing major. She graduated from Friendship Christian School in 2007. She has received the Alpha Lambda Delta award, L.W. Legge Insurance Agency Endowed Scholarship, Louis Johnson Endowed Scholarship, Most Studious Sorority Superlative, Student Orientation Advisor Superlative, Wendy's High School Heisman State Finalist and is a Tennessee Scholar Award winner.
Watson is a member of the Phi Mu Sorority, a peer mentor, student orientation advisor and part of the Fellowship Christian Athletes. After graduation, Watson plans to pursue her master's of business administration.
Jones is a junior business major who graduated from McGavock High School in 2007. After graduation, Jones plans a career in the field of computer forensics. Jones is the daughter of Phillip and Kim Jones, and granddaughter of Joyce Jones.
The College of Business Student Ambassadors are students with strong communications skills. The group helps the college with several important endeavors including hosting various COB events (such as Fall Celebration donor dinner, Homecoming, WOW, Student-to-Career programs), making recruitment visits to high schools and community colleges, and providing tours of Johnson Hall and the TTU campus.
