Alpha Delta Pi host Miss Tennessee Royalty charity pageant on Oct. 8
Alpha Delta Pi will be having a charity pageant for The Ronald McDonald House and The Hurricane Katrina Relief. This pageant is proudly being sponsored by Woman's Health Services. This pageant is open to everyone. Applications can be picked up at the Country Bumpkin, 303 S. Willow Ave. Pageant will start at 2 p.m. at Derryberry Auditorium, there will be a 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place in each age division. Age divisions are: Infant Girl Royalty 0-6 months (girls), Baby Girl: 7-11 Royalty months (girls), Wee Miss Royalty 12-23 months (girls), Tiny Miss Royalty 24-35 months (girls), Little Miss Royalty 3-4 years (girls), Pretty Miss Royalty 5-6 years (girls), Young Miss Royalty 7-9 years (girls), Miss Pre Teen Royalty 10-12 years (girls), Miss Teen Royalty13-15 years (girls), Miss Royalty16-20 years (girls), Ms.Tennessee Royalty 21 and up (single, married or divorced). Zeta Phi Beta accepting relief donations in RUC
The ladies of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. will be on the ground floor of the Roaden University Center Sept. 5-9 accepting donations to help aid the Salvation Army with relief efforts for Hurricane Katrina victims.
One World coordinates Hurricane Disaster Relief effort
One World Organization of TTU is coordinating a Hurricane Disaster Relief Fund Drive on campus. We are encouraging that everyone donates funds for the recovery effort. If you would like to contribute to this campus wide effort, please make checks payable to one or more of the following relief organizations: The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee (designate state AL, LA, MS); The American Red Cross; Mercy Corps; or Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee. Be sure to earmark your donation on your check for Hurricane Katrina relief. We will be sending the donations in at one time and will also be earmarking the whole bundle as hurricane relief. You can send these donations to Hurricane Relief C/O Theresa Ennis PO box 9503 TTU, OR please bring your donation to One World’s Free International Dessert giveaway on September 8th from 11-12 dead hour on South Patio!
