COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (June 26, 2002) -- The nation's largest non-profit
education association has named Tennessee Tech University one of the superior
fund-raising programs in the country.
CASE, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, awarded TTU
its 2002 Circle of Excellence In Educational Fund-Raising Award for overall
improvement in the last three years.
Tennessee Tech's fund-raising performance was measured against peer institutions
for its growth pattern in total support, individual programs, alumni donor
support and other areas. TTU was one of 47 institutions out of almost
400 to receive a Circle of Excellence Award.
CASE is the professional organization for advancement professionals at
all levels who work in alumni relations, communications and development.
CASE's membership includes more than 3,000 colleges, universities, and
independent elementary and secondary schools in the United States, Canada,
Mexico, and 42 other countries.
