COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (May 29, 2003) The Appalachian Center for Craft
will host a summer faculty exhibit in its Gallery One.
Opening on Sunday, June 1, and running through Aug. 3, the exhibition
features selected works by the 26 artists who will lead
Craft Center workshops this summer. The pieces represent blacksmithing,
metals, ceramics, fibers, glass, wood and mixed media.
Examples of work by the instructors can also be seen in the Craft Centers
publication about the summer workshops.
The center is located at Hurricane Bridge on Highway 56 between Interstate
40 Exit 273 and Smithville, and the gallery is open daily from 9 a.m.
to 5 p.m.
