Sinclair Henry, Stephanie Vaughn crowned TTU's 2003 Homecoming king, queen

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 7, 2003) – Sinclair Henry of Chattanooga and Stephanie Vaughn of Cookeville were selected by Tennessee Tech University students to be this year’s Homecoming King and Queen.

The pair was crowned by last year’s king and queen — Brent Waugh and Carol Etheridge — in a ceremony at TTU’s Homecoming football game on Saturday, Nov. 1.

Stephanie Vaughn, a 2000 graduate of Cookeville High School, is a senior at TTU majoring in marketing. She is the daughter of Kenny and Mary Vaughn of Cookeville and granddaughter of Junior and Billie Vaughn and Joe Hogue. Vaughn is vice president of communications for the Delta Gamma sorority and also works as a student admissions representative and a volunteer at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Sinclair Henry, a 1998 graduate of Red Bank High School, is also a senior marketing major at TTU. He is the son of Robert and Robbie Henry of Chattanooga and grandson of Minnie Bell and Anne Henry. Henry is a Bible study leader at his church, and at TTU, he is an intramural coordinator, member of the Chi Alpha drama team and vice president of the University Programming Council. After graduation he plans to attend graduate school and to get his master’s degree in business administration.

This year’s Homecoming Court, nominated and voted on by TTU students, includes Wally Irvin of Kingsport, Justin Walden of Chattanooga, Beth Duncan of Hendersonville, Kristin Story of Cookeville, Jeff Henry of Jackson, Heather Taylor of Kingston, Andrew Thacker of Jamestown and Jessica Whitehead of Columbia.
