Tammy Martin named November Ambassador of the Month

Tammy Martin, executive aide in the Tennessee Tech University’s College of Business Administration, “is always cheerful” and gives students every chance to succeed, said Jamie Manis, a student worker in Martin’s office. “One day about 4:30, a student walked in and demanded to sign up for the ETS [an exit exam required of all business seniors] — it was the last day to sign up for the test,” said Manis. “Just then, another student came in, and by the time all the students had stopped coming in, it was 5:15. She still had a smile on her face, when most people wouldn’t. This is just one reason why Tammy Martin should be Tech’s ambassador of the month.” Ambassador nomination forms are available from TTU’s Human Resource Services Office or by visiting www.tntech.edu/hr.
