Tennessee Tech Universitys Residential Life Coordinator Al Roberson
hit the ground running when he joined the staff in January, said Lisa
Macke of TTUs Counseling Center. Macke, organizer of campus activities
during National Eating Disorders Awareness Week in February, said Roberson's
efforts to promote the activities in the residence halls were extraordinary.
"He had very little time to put Residential Life's NEDAW programming
together, but he managed to design innovative door hangers, worked with
his student staff to create a unique jeans display, and put together a
variety of programs to air on the Res Life channel. His efforts were truly
outstanding, because he and his staff not only presented excellent programming,
but also did it within such a short period of time." Ambassador nomination
forms are available from TTUs Human Resource Services Office or
by visiting www.tntech.edu/hr.
