COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 13, 2004) -- Increase your leadership skills
at home, work or in the community by attending a new workshop offered
by Tennessee Tech Universitys Life-long Learning class series.
In five sessions, a team of Tennessee Tech faculty and staff recognized
for their accomplishments and leadership abilities will guide participants
through the skill-building workshop. The Leadership Skills Development
Series will focus on personal, team, problem-solving and organizational
leadership.
Topics to be covered:
- Increasing personal understanding of leadership strengths and weaknesses;
- Improving interactions in business, personal and community circles;
- Leading teams with shared understanding;
- Improving capabilities to indentify and solve problems.
Series leaders from TTU include Bonita Barger, Alice Camuti, Ken Hunter,
Jessica Matson, Marcia Reel, Michael Schwandt, Sandi J. Smith and Tom Timmerman.
The Leadership Skills Development Series will be held 6:30-9 p.m., Mondays,
Jan. 26-Feb. 23 in TTUs Henderson Hall, Room 10. The cost is $125.
