COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (June 27, 2004) Tennessee Tech University curriculum
and instruction secretary Nancy Furton "has always been a tremendous
help to the faculty and students in her department," said TTU graduate
assistant Elizabeth Brosseau. "Most recently she made it possible
for me to graduate with my master's by taking the initiative and filling
out a substitution form for one of my classes and turning it in quickly,"
said Brosseau. TTU graduate student Kim O'Kelley appreciates Furton's
cheerfulness. "Her eagerness to help faculty and students makes everyone's
job and educational experiences better," said O'Kelley. "She
is always very professional, willing to lend a helping hand and hard working.
She's the kind of person who makes you want to smile." Ambassador
nomination forms are available from Tennessee Techs Human Resource
Services or by visiting www.tntech.edu/hr.
