TTU announces winners of 2004 Marshall and Thelma Bertram Liberal Arts Endowed Scholarship  

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 12, 2004) — Presenting the 2004 Marshall and Thelma Bertram Liberal Arts Endowed Scholarship are, left, Dr. Philip Bertram, who is the couple’s son, and, right, Jeffery J. Roberts, history chairperson. This year’s recipient is, center, Hannah G. Holland. The award is given to a fulltime junior liberal arts major with a grade point average of 3.25 or higher. It is funded by interest generated through contributions made in memory of Marshall and Thelma Bertram. Holland is a graduate of Macon County High School in Lafayette and is a junior history major. She is a member of the SGA Library committee and Phi Alpha Theta and is also a member of the President’s Commission on the Status of Women. Photo: TTU
