COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 13, 2004) – Join the whimsical fun during the closing reception for “On the Edge of Town," a unique exhibition of dark, yet humorous, work by artist Jami McKinnon focusing on human/animal hybrids performing in circus or carnival sideshows and under the big top! Enjoy a thematic closing reception at 5 p.m. in Gallery Two of the Appalachian Center for Crafts on Friday, Sept. 17. The event will be complete with popcorn, sno-cones, treats, masks, music and frolic! McKinnon will be attending the reception – so it will be a great opportunity to meet the artist. The Craft Center is conveniently located six miles off Interstate 40
at Exit 273 (Smithville/McMinnville). Take an immediate left after crossing
Hurricane Bridge.
