Two TTU President's Ambassadors recently graduated

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (Aug. 25, 2005) — Two of Tennessee Tech University’s first ever President’s Ambassadors recently earned degrees.

They are Lindsay Watson of Gordonsville and Mike Wudhapitak of Cookeville. Watson earned her master’s in business administration, while Wudhapitak earned a bachelor’s in marketing.

The President’s Ambassadors program began last year at TTU and is a prestigious distinction that allows selected students to represent the university while interacting with new students and other campus visitors.

To become a President’s Ambassador, students must have a GPA of at least 2.5 on the university’s 4.0 scale and be recommended for the program by a TTU faculty member.

Among their duties, Ambassadors accompany VIP guests to campus and athletic events. The group meets with TTU President Bob Bell once or twice a semester and may even be asked to serve him as a student advisory board.

Watson, a 2000 graduate of Gordonsville High School, is the daughter of Larry Watson and Vanda Wiley. She works for Kraft CPAs in Nashville.

Wudhapitak, a 2001 graduate of Cookeville High School, is the son of Diridej and Noparat Wudhapitak. He plans to attend graduate school in Arizona.
