COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 25, 2005) – Composer Donald Grantham will
present two concerts during a two-day residency at Tennessee Tech University.
They are set for 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 2-3.
His compositions include pieces for the chamber ensemble and one work
for the wind ensemble.
Grantham is an award-winning composer and professor at the University
of Texas.
TTU’s Brass Arts Quintet will perform one of his works, “Bouncer,”
in a concert on Tuesday, Nov. 1.
Both of Grantham’s concerts and the Brass Arts Quintet show will
take place in TTU’s Wattenbarger Auditorium in the Bryan Fine Arts
Building.
Grantham’s presentations are Center Stage events that are free
and open to the public, and the Brass Arts Quintet concert is also free
and open to the public.
