TTU Euphoniums Unlimited student ensemble to perform Friday night  

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (March 28, 2006) – Tennessee Tech University’s 16-member student euphonium ensemble, “Euphoniums Unlimited,” presents a concert directed by R. Winston Morris on Friday, March 31, at 8:30 p.m. inside the Bryan Fine Arts Building.

The ensemble includes euphonium students and select alumni from the renowned Tennessee Tech Tuba Ensemble.

An eclectic program will be presented to the audience, including works ranging from jazz to classical. Several soloists will also be featured, including professor Joshua Hauser and his composition “EuPhunk,” and student Aaron Marsee performing Phillip Sparke’s “Song for Ina.”

Alumnus Bryce Edwards will perform Goedicke’s showcase composition “Concert Etude,” a piece originally scored for trumpet. A euphonium trio will also perform Leroy Anderson’s ever-popular “Bugler’s Holiday.”

The concert will be free and open to the public.
