Still not too late to get reservations for Bacchanal 2006  

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 27, 2006) — Ward Doubet, left, and Kim Winkle sort through just some of the donations from artists for the coming Bacchanal 2006 wine tasting and auction of art and fine craft. Doubet is the director of the Appalachian Center for Craft and Bacchanal Committee chairman. Winkle is a visiting assistant professor of art at TTU and a member of the Bacchanal planning committee. Participate in this exciting community event and support TTU and Craft Center scholarships in art and fine craft. Bacchanal 2006 is set from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 8, at Spankies Restaurant in Cookeville. The live auction begins at 2:30 p.m. Also enjoy wine and beer tasting, a cocktail buffet, live acoustic jazz, complimentary wine and pilsner glasses and free valet parking.
