COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (Dec. 3, 2007) — A Tennessee Tech University
curriculum and instruction associate professor has been recognized for
her work by the Tennessee Reading Association.
Deborah Setliff has been named the 2007-2008 Distinguished Reading Professor
by the association, a professional reading organization with approximately
2,000 members from across the state.
She was presented a plaque at the recent Tennessee Reading Association
Conference in Franklin.
The award recognizes her diligent work as a teacher educator who facilitates
understanding complex and multiple perspectives of literacy, including
community, state, national and international levels.
