TTU's first entirely student produced recording available now

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 17, 2007) – Several members of Tennessee Tech University’s trombone choir and music recording techniques students check out copies of their newly released compact disc recording, Areté. Seated, from left, are Fred Nelson, Robert Thatch, Ryan Carpenter and Alex Sears. Standing, from left, are TTU trombone professor Joshua Hauser, Andrew Coggin and William Elliot. The two TTU classes began collaborating last spring to learn the step-by-step process of creating a compact disc. The QEP funded project is the first entirely student produced recording of its kind at the university. For more information, call Hauser at 931/372-6086. Photo: TTU
