COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 18, 2007) — A trombone recital by Joshua Hauser will be the featured Sept. 25 Tuesdays at Tech faculty concert.

Set for 7:30 p.m. in Derryberry Hall Auditorium, the free concert will showcase the trombone in two parts.

The program — featuring works by Norman Bolter, Joseph Guy Ropartz, Jim Self and Greg Danner — will showcase the trombone in recent works, demonstrating the range of the instrument both stylistically and in the more traditional musical definition of ‘range.’

Hauser will be accompanied by Paul Thurmond on piano, Mark Smith on bass, and Eric Willie on drums.
