COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (March 7, 2008)—Tennessee Tech University is
the place to be for a taste of Indian culture and cuisine on March 15.
The Indian Association of Cookeville will host India Nite ’08 in
the Multi-Purpose Room of the Roaden University Center at 6 p.m. on that
Saturday.
The evening will feature Indian culture, tradition, heritage and cuisine,
with highlights to include Bollywood fusion dances, classical and folk
dances and music.
Everyone is invited to the celebration, which has become an annual TTU
and Cookeville tradition, but be sure to reserve tickets in advance because
they won’t be available at the door.
Tickets are $10 – and admission is free for children under the
age of 12.
