TTU Voices & Views

Host Karen Lykins interviews individuals who make Tennessee Tech University a unique and academically outstanding institution. University visitors, student segments and events are also featured. AIRTIME: TTU Voices and Views airs from October to January on Thursday nights at 7:30 pm and repeats on Sunday at 5 pm.

This week's show:

When TTU biology professor S.K. Ballal left Sri Lanka last October, after several months on a Fulbright trip, he left with memories of pristine beaches and peaceful waters. Hear his account about life in Sri Lanka before the tsunami and what’s he’s learned from friends, colleagues and students he left behind. Also, Barath Baburao of the Indian Association of Cookeville will describe ongoing fundraising efforts to help tsunami victims in several countries. The show airs Thursday, Jan. 13, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 16, at 5 p.m.
