TTU Procard

• The TTU Procard program utilizes the First Tennessee Visa card as the payment-processing medium. The TTU Procard can be used to purchase supply-type items costing $4,999.99 or less. Please read the Procard Users Manual (PDF) to obtain all the details related to the Procard program.

• The Procard is issued to an individual, not a department. The cardholder is responsible for the proper use and recording of the charges. There are no credit checks of the cardholder’s personal finances.

• Each department should designate a Departmental Representative who will oversee the individual cardholders' use of the card and ensure that the monthly memo account statements and activity logs are reconciled properly.

• Only the cardholder is authorized to use the Visa purchasing card, and it should not be given to others to use.

• All supporting documentation, such as appropriate receipts for all purchases, must be requested and retained.

• Each cardholder must attend the appropriate user training session before they are issued the Procard for use.

• The Procard user should tell vendors that the University is tax exempt before placing an order or charging any merchandise to the Procard. The tax exemption number for the University is printed on the front of the Visa card.
