than two weeks before the first day of registration. Mail applications
along with the $25.00 application fee to P. O. Box 5036, Cookeville,

Graduate courses are numbered at the 500, 600 and
700 levels. A graduate student may be permitted to register for
any course which appears in the published Schedule of Classes;
however, only those courses taken at the 500, 600 and 700 levels
may be counted for graduate credit. Graduate credit will not be
given for a course numbered at the 400 level or below. A course
taken at the 400 level may not be taken later at the 500 level
without special permission from the departmental chairperson,
college dean, and the Dean of the Graduate School.
Graduate courses may be taken for undergraduate
credit when prior approval is obtained. When undergraduate credit
is received, it will not later be converted to graduate credit.
Unclassified students will not receive graduate credit for graduate
courses.
Seniors who wish to take graduate courses (course
level number 500 - 700) either for undergraduate or graduate credit
must obtain approval in the Graduate School Office prior to registration.
Take written approval to the Registration Center for processing.
