FOR BASIC ENGINEERING COURSES

For ENGR1110 and 1120, ENGR1210 and ENGR2121, the lecture and lab sections are paired. Students must register for the lab section number in which the last two digits match with the lecture section number.

Sections 001 - 008 of ENGR1120 will utilize the C language. C is the recommended language for students intending to major in ChE, IME, ME and MIT. C is required for students intending to major in ECE and CmpE.

Sections 009- 010 of ENGR1120 will utilize the Fortran language. Fortran is the recommended language for students intending to major in CE.

Section 800 of ENGR 1110. Permission to register for this course must be obtained from the Honors Program and the BE department.

ENGR2121 will be taught using the C programming language and is required for students intending to major in EE and IE. Students should have completed the first course (ENGR1120) in C before registering for this course.
