Make Fall 2008 Registration Fit You to a "T"

Significant changes will take place in the registration process during Summer and Fall 2008 registration.

Whether you are a freshman still becoming familiar with the registration process or an upperclassman with the registration routine mastered, this page is for you. Here you will find important instructions, definitions and updates that you must know to complete your registration successfully.

What you must know before you register

• Your student ID number is changing.

Your T-number is a new number that will serve as your Student Login ID for Fall 2008 registration and beyond.

T-number basics:

• It will replace your social security number as your Student Login ID.
• It will be the letter "T" followed by eight randomly assigned digits.
• It will be used for the rest of your college career at TTU.
  It will be used for historical purposes such as transcript requests.

How to find your T-number:

• Log into Eagle Online view the 'Quick Links' option
• Select 'Registration, Grades, ... for Spring 2008 and Summer 2008'
• Log in using your Student ID (SSN) and PIN
  At the Navigation bar, select 'Student Records'
• Select the link 'Advisor, PO Box/Combination .....'
• Scroll down and you will see your T-number in the block called 'Your Banner ID is:'

• Your Password (PIN) is NOT changing.

Your six-digit Password (PIN) will stay the same during the conversion.

• Your RAC is changing.

Your four-digit registration access code will be used for Summer 2008 registration.

Your six-digit registration alternate PIN will be used for Fall 2008 registration.

• You will not register for Summer and Fall at the same time this semester ONLY.

Dates you need to know:

• March 10 - 13: advisement for summer and fall

• March 14 - 20: early registration FOR SUMMER ONLY using your four-digit RAC and SSN

• March 21 - April 4: advisement continues; Eagle Online unavailable for registration

• April 7 - May 14: summer registration resumes

• May 27: Regular registration for summer

• April 7 - August 6: fall registration using your six-digit Registration Alternate PIN and T-number (summer registration continues through May 14).

When will I receive my T-number?

It is available via Eagle Online in the Student Record tab under the link "Advisor."

How will I receive my T-number?

You can go to this link at anytime.

When will I receive my RAC number?

When you are advised you will receive both your four-digit RAC for summer registration and your six-digit Alternate PIN for fall registration. It is important to understand that if you are registering for both summer and fall semesters, you MUST hold on to your Fall 2008 Registration Alternate PIN after being advised for summer and fall. Unlike the RAC, the Alternate PIN will be used each time you log in to register, drop/add or change your schedule.  

Will Eagle Online look different when I login with the new numbers?

The look and feel of Eagle Online will be familiar to you.

How is registration timeline different than previous years for Summer and Fall 2008?

In the past, you could register for summer and fall at the same time, but students registering for Summer 2008 will register during one time period, while registration for Fall 2008 will occur later. This is for 2008 ONLY. Future registrations will be back to normal.
