Memberships
Eligibility
Campus Recreation offers recreation and wellness opportunities to TTU's campus community. Students taking 6 or more hours of credit classes are automatically members. The rest of the TTU campus community is eligible to purchase memberships. Eligible members include students with 5 or fewer credit hours, current faculty and staff, alumni, and retirees. Spouses and dependents of these eligible members may also purchase a membership once the eligible person has purchased one.
Membership allows the member to benefit from reduced fees on all programs including massage therapy, Kid's Night Out, Snow Camp, swim lessons, fitness classes, and Health Promotions services. Members will also be the first to know about upcoming special events such as the Annual Health Fair through our in-house newsletter, "Campus Rec News ." This publication is available at various locations in the Fitness Center.
Eligible Non-Member Cards
If an eligible person chooses not to purchase a membership, he/she can still use the Fitness Center for a daily $5.00 fee. To assist you in admittance to the center, a free eligible non-member card will be issued in the main office, Room 118. The card is good for one year from date of issue.
Purchasing a Membership
Memberships are purchased in the main office of the Fitness Center, Room 118. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, or Discover. Payroll deduction for faculty and staff is available when purchasing a 12-month membership. All membership questions can be answered by calling 372-6212.
Guest Opportunities
Guests can use the Fitness Center or participate in a program as long as they are with a current full or part-time student or a paid member of the Fitness Center. The member must be with the guest at all times while using the facility or participating in any of the programs.
