The Office of Research provides leadership and administrative support to TTU faculty and staff in the identification and receipt of funding for research and creative or other scholarly activities. Additionally the Office of Research, working in conjunction with Grants Accounting, ensures that awards and contracts are compliant with federal, state, sponsor, TBR and TTU regulations, terms and conditions.

- help develop, edit, and organize proposals
- assist with gathering data, support letters, curriculum vitae, assurances, and documentation
- assist with completing the PEF, budgets, tables or charts
- outline the proposal requirements and guidelines
- assist with assembling proposal components
Additionally, our staff provides leadership, guidance and support to the TTU community to:
- present seminars and workshops on proposal development, and coordinate programs and activities related to external funding
- develop proposals for submission to external funding agencies
- assist in interpretation of policies related to research compliance
- provide guidance to facilitate preparation and timely submission of applications to the TTU Committee for the Protection of Human Subjects (a.k.a., IRB)
- initiate and develop collaborative and interdisciplinary opportunities/contacts on and off campus
