If YES, students requesting disability housing accommodations MUST register with the Office of Disability Services before housing accommodations may be provided. You must submit or complete the following information:

RESIDENCE HALLS INFORMATION (INCLUDING SUMMER HOUSING):

  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION/AGREEMENT FOR LIVING IN THE HALLS:
    • You understand that by submitting your application, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to comply with the Guide for Successful Living and the On-Campus Housing Agreement. If you would like to view the different options for the halls, please click here: Residence Halls.
    • Anyone wanting guaranteed space on campus but also applying to Tech Village Apartments:
      • If you want to try to get into Tech Village, but you want something that is also guaranteed, you must apply to both the Residence Halls and Tech Village Apartments since spaces are not guaranteed in the apartments.  This will ensure that you receive at least a room in the residence halls.  If you do not complete a residence hall application and you do not get into Tech Village, you will not have anything reserved on campus for you.  Completing the residence hall application will give you a fall back option and help take care of any housing hold you may have because of the residency requirement here at Tech.  Then if you get into Tech Village, we will cancel your halls application as the Tech Village application will take priority.
      • Freshmen are eligible to live in Tech Village beginning Fall 2014.  If you are a freshman wanting to live in Tech Village beginning Fall 2014, you must also complete both the Residence Halls application and the Tech Village application.  Please refer to the section discussing guaranteed space immediately above as the process is similar.
      • Anyone of Junior status or above should not have a housing hold and can apply to Tech Village without a halls application.
  • SUMMER HOUSING:
    • Summer school housing is provided if needed.
    • Our summer school residence halls are MS Cooper and Pinkerton and are subject to change at any time if needed.
    • Applications for summer housing in the halls will be made available via the portal each March 1st for the following summer semester/terms.
  • HONORS HOUSING:
    • The Honors Department decides who is placed in Murphy Hall, decides roommate matching, and decides room assignments and then the names are provided to our department for placing into the system.
