“If It Ain’t Broke, Don’t Fix
It!”

But what if it is broken? If something in a student's room breaks,
(like the door knob, light fixture, window, towel rack, etc.)
putting in a Work Order is the way to go. Any RA can help with
this, or, if the problem is not an emergency, work orders can
be filled out online at http://www.tntech.edu/reslife/forms/workorder.htm.
There is also a Maintenance Hotline (372-3272) that is available
between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday
or a message can be left on the hotline after normal work hours.
However, if a water line bursts and a room is flooding, a student
should contact an RA or Hall Director immediately.
