Welcome to the Tennessee Tech University - Center for Manufacturing Research’s Research Experience for Teachers (RET) Website for High School and Community College Math and Science Teachers of the Upper Cumberland and Hamilton Counties.

RET is designed to provide high-school and community college math and science teachers an opportunity to conduct a research project under the guidance of a TTU faculty mentor and to develop teaching modules to take back to their classrooms. Projects are based on ongoing research activities in engineering including electrical and computer engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, industrial engineering, and manufacturing and industrial technology.

• 2009 Program
• 2010: 6-week full-time research internship June 7 – July 16, 2010. Additional implementation and follow-up activities required during the school year.
  Stipend: In-service teachers $6,000 Pre-service teachers $4,000
