Laboratory Safety Resources
Few environments on campus present the hazards that a chemical science teaching lab do. Though similar (and greater) hazards exist in other laboratories situations, the teaching lab requires largely novice individuals to utilize materials with potentially hazardous
Learning Science Safely (http://vimeo.com/8703102): Chemical Safety in the Undergraduate Laboratory uses realistic classroom scenarios to walk undergraduates through a chemistry lab. Students will learn about coming to class prepared and the life-saving importance of following instructions and adhering to safe procedures and responsible behavior. The program is geared tgo students with little or no experience in a science lab and is designed to be shown by chemistry faculty in a science class before the first lab session (2005)
