Saxophone Quartets

Saxophone quartets are in abundance at Tennessee Tech. The studio ensembles often peform in department recitals, community events and national renown chamber ensemble competitions including The Fischoff National Chamber Competition.

Appalachian Quartet

The Appalachian Quartet defies all expectations. Formed in the Fall of 2005 and renamed from Eternal Quartet in September 2008, this young ensemble has already made it's mark. From performances at the 2006 Tennessee Music Educators' Association Conference to their frequent improptu performance at the Fischoff Chamber Competition, the quartet has thrilled audiences. Their wide-ranging repetoire spans classics from the saxophone quartet canon to the latest works. The Appalachian Quartet: past, present, and future.

Members for this quartet include Ben Elsberry, Soprano; Nick Dearing, Alto; Jacob Stanfield, Tenor; and Andrew Allen, Baritone.

Evocando Quartet

Members for this quartet include Vickie Adams, Soprano; Bryn Rice, Alto; Tyler Dugger, Tenor; and Emily Loboda, Baritone.

Lip B.A.L.M. Quartet

Members for this quartet include Madison Burnett, Soprano; Bethany Green, Alto; Lindsey Slaughter, Tenor; and Adam Pryor, Baritone.

This Side Up Quartet

Members for this quartet include Jimmy McCoy, Soprano; Robert Rubley, Alto; Jillian Storey, Tenor; and Me'Haley Babich, Baritone.

E.J.I.Q. Quartet

Members for this quartet include Brittani Taylor, Soprano; Tony Hibbard, Alto; James Spires, Tenor; and Dustin Hopkins, Baritone. E.J.I.Q. stands for Extended Just Intonation Quartet.
