Saxophone quartets are in abundance at Tennessee Tech. The studio ensembles often peform in department recitals, community events and national renown chamber ensemble competitions including The Fischoff National Chamber Competition.
The Appalachian Quartet defies all expectations.
Formed in the Fall of 2005 and renamed from Eternal
Quartet in September 2008, this young ensemble has
already made it's mark. From performances at the 2006
Tennessee Music Educators' Association Conference to
their frequent improptu performance at the Fischoff
Chamber Competition, the quartet has thrilled audiences.
Their wide-ranging repetoire spans classics from the
saxophone quartet canon to the latest works. The
