The Cumberland Plateau Regional Science and Engineering Fair is sponsored
by Tennessee Tech Unversity. It is affiliated with the INTEL International
Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) and Science Service. It will be
held on April 4-5, 2008, at the Roaden University Center with the Awards Ceremony
in Derryberry Auditorium on the TTU Campus.
The Fair is open to all 4th through 12th grade students attending a public,
private, parochial, or home school in the following counties: Bledsoe,
Cannon, Clay, Cumberland, DeKalb, Fentress, Jackson, Macon, Overton, Pickett,
Putnam, Scott, Smith, Van Buren, Warren, and White. Teachers and sponsors
may advise students, but all work must be done by the student. All
ISEF rules and regulations can be found at www.sciserv.org/isef/document/.
All rules must be followed, including all the forms required by ISEF.
Two grand-prize winners will each receive a $3000 scholarship for the
freshman year at TTU along with an expense-paid trip to exhibit at the International

will each receive a $1500 scholarship for the freshman year and an expense-paid
trip to the International Fair as observers. Other prizes, including
cash, are also awarded in all categories and in all divisions.
We had another successful year at the International Science and Engineering
Fair in Albuquerue, NM. Congratulations to Ying Fan for winning a Second
