Welcome to the TTU Student Government Association
Welcome to the TTU SGA website! I hope you are ready for an exciting year at TECH. I am happy to announce the continued success with the S.O.L.O. fund. In 2010 students on campus voted and passed a referendum, which will implement the Student Organizations Life Opportunity Fund (S.O.L.O.) here on campus. This fund will provide much needed monies to student organizations on campus, and it will also enable us to sponsor one major event on campus each semester, which started this past spring. The headline band was the Goo Goo Dolls, along with Vertical Horizon, and the show was a great success! We look forward to many more great concerts to come.
It is essential for you to know SGA’s sole purpose is to represent the student body and voice their concerns to the administration here on campus. This can be done by contacting your representative senator, whose contact information is on this site. All of us in student government believe this campus is extraordinary, but it takes your help and comments to keep it this way!
Student government on campus is comprised of an executive branch, legislative branch, and judicial branch. This allows students on campus to take a true role in the future of our university. These three branches are comprised of four executive officers, thirty Senators, nine Supreme Court Judges, and nine cabinet members.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to come by the office located in room 115 of the Roaden University Center and I or a member of SGA will be more than happy to discuss them with you. Have a wonderful year on campus and remember SGA is here for you!
