2003 Activities

Chapter sponsored a local child (with cancer) for its annual Christmas Program.

Chapter funded RP lab consumables and LH computer lab supplies.

SME Region 8 Annual Meeting

Huntsville, AL

October 2-4, 2003

8 current members attended.

Mr. Wayne Raney received the first place in the annual design competition with his airplane design.

S215 had a booth in Engineering Orientation Fair held on September 16, 2003.

Fall 2003 Start-up Party was held on September 3, 2003.

20 current members attended.

Four Chapter Members received SME's 2003 Scholarships.

Adam McGough, Coral Nocton and Dr. Fidan attended NSF Rapid Prototyping Workshop held in San Diego City College

from July 27 to August 2, 2003. All expenses were paid by NSF.

Coral Nocton, Troy Brown, and Dr. Fidan attended ASEE2003 Conference. 

Spring 2003 Clothing Drive was a great success.

Everything was donated to Rescue Mission.
