SOA Quote

What is your favorite thing about TTU?

My favorite thing about TTU is the campus size. It's not too large of campus that you never see anyone you know, but its large enough that you can still meet new people all the time.

What is your most memorable TTU experience so far?

My most memorable TTU experience has probably been joining my sorority and becoming an SOA. Both have given me the chance to meet so many people and also meeting a very diverse group of people.

How did you choose your major?

I have always wanted to be in the medical field oddly since I was in the 5th grade. My mom is also a nurse, so that has influenced my decision as well. I hope to go on to Medical School and become a Pediatrician.

What is your favorite meal at TTU?

Probably grilled cheese at The Perch.

Advice for incoming college freshman from your experience so far?

Learn how to study and how to manage your time as soon as possible. It will help you so much if you can learn how to do these quickly.

What is your favorite TTU Tradition and why?

My favorite TTU Tradition is Week of Welcome. It's such a great way for freshman to get out of their residence halls and meet as many people as they can within the first week they're here.

What kind of extracurricular activities are you involved in on campus and in the community?

I'm in a sorority, play intramural soccer, volunteer frequently on campus and around Cookeville whenever I can, and I try to participate with Avant-Garde (French Club).

What movie star would you play in a movie? Why?

I would be Rapunzel in Tangled because I have long blonde hair and I like adventure.

What was your biggest mistake as a freshman? What did you learn from that experience?

I think my biggest mistake, especially second semester was not managing my time wisely. I learned that instead of doing all the things that I want to do, I have to sacrifice those things sometimes and do what I have to do; which is studying and doing lots of homework.

What is your favorite book?

The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
