What is your favorite thing about TTU?
I really like how friendly everyone is and how there is always something new going on.
What is your most memorable TTU experience so far?
When I joined my sorority and my first homecoming football game.
How did you choose your major?
My major is Elementary Education and what led me to it was my love for kids and I want to be able to help our future generation. I also love art so I would like to minor in Art and be an art teacher.
What is your favorite meal at TTU?
Mondo’s Subs in Swoops is always my favorite place to eat.
Advice for incoming college freshman from your experience so far?
Time management is very important! Try not to wait until the last minute for anything you do. Being early is always better that being late.
What is your favorite TTU Tradition and why?
I love Week of Welcome. There are always so many fun activities going on and you get to meet a lot of new people.
What kind of extracurricular activities are you involved in on campus and in the community?
I am part of a Panhellenic sorority, the Tech Buddies program, TMTA (Tennessee Mathematics Teachers Association), TAB (Tech Activities Board), and BCM (Baptist Collegiate Ministry).
What movie star would you play in a movie? Why?
I would like to be Katniss in the movie The Hunger Games because she is so brave and has so much courage. She would also do anything for her family and friends which I love about her.
What was your biggest mistake as a freshman? What did you learn from that experience?
Waiting until the last minute was my biggest mistake. My first test that I had I waited until the last minute to study for and stayed up all night looking over the material. Then the next day when I went to take the test I was so tired I could barely stay awake and failed the test completely.
