What is your favorite thing about TTU?

I love the size of TTU! It’s not too big and not too small, which gives students many opportunities to get involved and succeed!

What is your most memorable TTU experience so far?

“My most memorable TTU experience is being an SOA this year! I am thrilled to work with such an amazing group of students, and cannot wait to have a great summer with all of them.”

How did you choose your major?

I am an extremely outgoing and personable person. I know I want to go into event planning so Public Relations was a perfect fit! It’s an awesome major with excellent instructors and advisors. I love it!

What is your favorite meal at TTU?

The Grilled cheese sandwich in the Perch! I know it sounds boring, but it is the best sandwich hands down on campus!

Advice for incoming college freshman from your experience so far?

Get involved and meet as many people as possible! Your college experience is what you make it! Whatever you put into it you’ll get out of it, so get involved in as many things as you can. The more you get involved, the more you’ll love TTU!

What is your favorite TTU Tradition and why?

I love TTU Homecoming! It’s an amazing time when all of Tech’s students and alumni come together to cheer on the Golden Eagles football team!

What kind of extracurricular activities are you involved in on campus and in the community?

I am in a sorority, a member of TAB (Tech Activities Board), French Club, and of course a SOA this summer!

What movie star would you play in a movie? Why?

I’d want to play Kate Winslet so I can speak in a british accent!

What was your biggest mistake as a freshman? What did you learn from that experience?

My biggest mistake freshman year was not getting involved! Your college experience really is what you make it, and I wish I had known that sooner.
