What is your favorite thing about TTU?

No matter where I go on campus, I never meet a stranger. Everyone at Tech is so friendly and outgoing!!

What is your most memorable TTU experience so far?

Honestly my most memorable experience has been meeting so many great new people. It really has helped me to branch out.

How did you choose your major?

I love to help people of all ages and I knew I wanted to be in the medical field. Therapy has always been an interest of mine and after some personal encounters with Occupational Therapists I decided to job shadow and fell in love with the job!!

What is your favorite meal at TTU?

Honey BBQ boneless wings from Swoops with a side of potato wedges and macaroni and cheese.

Advice for incoming college freshman from your experience so far?

Always make time for studying, especially at the beginning of the semester. Find someone you can study with, and form a group. It will pay off in the long run!

What is your favorite TTU Tradition and why?

My favorite TTU Tradition is Awesome Eagle and the Eagle family. They not only bring enthusiasm to our campus, but they also bring out the pride that TTU fans have.

What kind of extracurricular activities are you involved in on campus and in the community?

Intramurals, volunteering with various organizations, my church service group, and being an officer in my sorority.

What movie star would you play in a movie? Why?

I would play Mandy Moore in A Walk to Remember because she plays the role of a strong young woman who doesn’t let her terminal illness effect the influence she has on others.

What was your biggest mistake as a freshman? What did you learn from that experience?

My biggest mistake was thinking that I already knew everything I needed to know about college life at TTU. I learned that there are more ways to get involved than I ever could have imagined!!
