What is your favorite thing about TTU?
I personally enjoy the size of TTU best. It is just big enough to give you the college feel without making you feel like a number.
What is your most memorable TTU experience so far?
Probably the Goo-Goo Dolls concert because it was my first time visiting Tech and I was able to see one of my preferred bands play. I met a lot of people and got to see the best of TTU all in one night.
How did you choose your major?
I was lucky enough to work in the field prior to choosing my major. So I already knew how much I would enjoy the work.
What is your favorite meal at TTU?
I really enjoy the Southwest Tuna Wrap from Au Bon Pain.
Advice for incoming college freshman from your experience so far?
Get involved as early as you can and don’t be afraid to meet new people. Chances are the people you are meeting at the beginning are in the same boat as you and are looking to make a new friend.
What is your favorite TTU Tradition and why?
The Hen House, because I find it to be a humorous way to refer to the former female residence halls. It’s punny.
What kind of extracurricular activities are you involved in on campus and in the community?
Exercise and Physical Wellness (EXPW) Club, Intramural sports, TTU sporting events, The Fit, and campus concerts.
What movie star would you play in a movie? Why?
I would be Morgan Freeman, because he has the voice of a god. It is gentle and kind, while also being very powerful and manly.
What was your biggest mistake as a freshman? What did you learn from that experience?
I did not take college seriously my first semesters and have paid the cost of having too much fun without taking time to study. While college provides you with the best years of your life, you must take the time to stay on top of school work. It must be the priority.
What is your favorite book?
Dante’s Inferno by Dante Alighieri
