About Me

Hello. For 32 years I was the lone, full-time philosophy professor on the Tennessee Tech faculty. In May of 2004, I took retirement. I now teach only during the fall semester on the post-retirement plan. I enjoyed those 32 years of teaching, and that's why I continue to teach on this reduced basis.

• I'm an alumnus of Vanderbilt University.
• I'm a native of Hutchinson, Kansas.
• After the Golden Eagles, the Kansas Jayhawks are my favorite basketball team.
• I have four children and seven grandchildren, the oldest of which is a U.S. Marine.
