1 UNIV 1020 or equivalent is required for first time freshmen. Students not required to take UNIV 1020 may take a general elective (it does not have to be a one-hour course). See your academic advisor.
2 Any general education mathematics course. MATH 1010 Introduction to Contemporary Mathematics Ideas recommended.
3 Competence through the 2010 level. Students may take the equivalent of the 1010, 1020, and 2010 courses of a single language, or demonstrate competence by being native speakers of a language other than English. In the case of the latter, students will take an additional 9 hours of general electives.
