Frequently asked questions about the National Survey of Student Engagement
All Freshmen and Senior students should take the survey to impact the type of education and social programs that TTU offers its students. TTU is interested in the engagement of students and what they think of all aspects of services offered at TTU. We want to improve programs to impact the needs of student to enable and support them to succeed in their perspective education interests. Students have the chance to voice their opinions and this data collected is used by the administration, faculty, and staff to implement changes to better meet the needs of our students.
The survey is administered via the internet. It is an online survey that students can fill out in approximately 5 minutes. The link to the survey is sent to the total cohorts of Freshmen and Seniors and is currently in effect. Freshmen and Seniors only are invited to complete the survey. We use the two different cohorts to analyze what make student successful and persevere until their senior year, and on to graduation.
Students will receive a series of five e-mails, inviting and reminding them to complete the survey. The e-mails will occur on the following dates: 2/3, 2/14, 2/22, 3/2, and the final reminder on 3/15. The survey ends on June 1, 2011.
