ACCESS
Goal 1: Increase the number of new and existing academic programs and partnerships that are both innovative and well aligned with state and national priorities.
Objectives:
- Create new degree-granting programs (undergraduate or graduate)
- Create or update concentrations or options
- Increase course offerings in international studies
- Increase effective use of technology in academic programs/delivery of academic programs
- Develop new partnerships with Community colleges
- Transfer students, dual admissions, learning support partnership
- Develop new partnerships with area K-12 schools
- Launch STEM center programming
- Form a regional development center (education, economic development and rural health care)
STUDENT SUCCESS
Goal 2: Increase retention and the number of students who complete a Baccalaureate or graduate degree.
Objectives:
- Focus recruitment and marketing efforts on selected sub-populations and programs
- International students, transfer students, geographically under-represented and low-income students
- Develop Living- and- Learning Experiences outside the Traditional Classroom
- Develop a Learning Assistance Commons
- Develop Learning Villages
- Improve advising and related student services
- Undergraduate and graduate transcript analysis
- Develop a coordinated campus advising model
- Promote campus wide initiatives on Wellness
- Develop an enhanced extracurricular student experience through the Division of Student Affairs and the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics
QUALITY
Goal 3: Enhance the learning environment to effectively support all programs and objectives.
Objectives:
- Upgrade facilities
- Upgrade the IT Infrastructure
- Increase the number of faculty and students (undergraduate and graduate) engaged in research, service, and evidence-based learning practices
- Enhance international diversity and awareness (global diversity)
RESOURCEFULNESS
Goal 4: Generate external resources to maintain and enhance Quality.

- Increase Grants and Contracts
- Increase Private Fundraising

Goal 5: Develop more efficient and cost-effective administrative processes.
