Strategic Planning Reporting System Help

 

 

 

  • Invalid Character Usage
    • Do not add commas into any dollar amount and round all values to the nearest dollar.
    • Please do not include the following characters in any data input into the Strategic Planning Reporting System

  • Maximum Field Size for Action Plans and Strategies
    • The maximum field size for an action plan description or a strategy description is 8,000 characters.  If you think a description you have entered is close to this threshold please use the tool provided below.

 

 

  • Strategic Planning Reporting System User Timeout
    • The system will time all users out if a period of inactivity last for 60 minutes.
    • A counter is displayed in the status bar of the internet browser as seen in the picture below

    • If the counter does not display in the status bar follow the instructions below:
      • Add the Strategic Planning Reports System to you Local Intranet Sites in your browser (Internet Explorer)
        • Tools Menu >> Internet Options
        • Click the Security Tab on the Internet Option Dialog Box
        • Select the Local Intranet Zone
        • Click the Local Intranet Sites Button
        • Click the Advanced Button when the Local Intranet Dialog Box appears
        • Type http://webapps.tntech.edu in the text box and click the Add Button
        • Click the Close Button to close the Local Intranet Sites Dialog Box
        • Click the Ok Button to close the Local Intranet Dialog Box
        • Click the Ok Button to close the Internet Options Dialog Box
        • Close and reopen your browser >> Navigate back to the Strategic Planning Reportig System
        • The counter should now be displayed

     

     

  • Certificate Error: Navigation Blocked while running an Argos Report
    • Click "Continue to this website (not recomended)" as seen in image below
