Student Conflict of Interest Policy

  Student Conflict of Interest Policy

In June 2004, the Tennessee Board of Regents revised the Conflict of Interest policy that governs all TTU employees (including student employees) and other TBR constituents.

To review the policy, please go to:http://www.tntech.edu/adminpandp/perspay/pp35.htm. A Financial Interests Disclosure form can be found at: http://www.tntech.edu/adminpandp/Exhibits/Perspay/ppex43.pdf. This is the form you should use if you are or might possibly be in a potential conflict of interest position. Completed forms should be submitted to Debbie Combs at TTU Box 5007. If you are at least reasonably confident that you are not in a financial conflict of interest situation - and few students will be - it is not necessary for you to complete the form.

At any time throughout the year, if a student feels that a potential conflict of interest has developed since the annual reporting time, the student is responsible for completing and submitting the form to either Mr. Harrell or Ms. Combs, whose contact information is listed below.
If you have questions regarding the policy or submission of forms, please contact director of compliance, Frank Harrell, who is currently serving as chair of the Committee. Mr. Harrell can be reached at extension 3939 or by email at fharrell@tntech.edu. Debbie Combs, coordinator of special projects, serves as recorder for the committee and can be reached at extension 3301 or by email at dkcombs@tntech.edu.
