The annual Autumn Bacchanal is more than a celebration of fine art and craft, wine and gourmet food — it also raises scholarship funds for our art students.

Bacchanal 2003 is set for 1-5 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 12, at Spankies Restaurant, located just off campus at 203 E. 9th St.

The Bacchanal begins with a cocktail buffet and an extensive selection of wines and beers. The live auction of art and fine craft starts at 2:30 p.m. and will consist of original works donated by campus and Craft Center art faculty, resident artists, students, alumni and regional artists.

Admission for the event is $25 a person if purchased before Friday, Oct. 8, and $30 at the door. Each guest receives a commemorative wineglass in appreciation for supporting the Bacchanal Scholarships.
