Capt. Scot A. Colver, Military Science,
has joined the faculty as a new assistant professor with the responsibility
for instruction of the freshman military science courses and serving
as the battalion's executive officer. Colver, who enlisted in the
Army in 1987, received his commission as a second lieutenant in
1994; he has a bachelor's degree in zoology from Armstrong Atlantic
State University. Colver is branched Special Forces and air assault-,
airborne-, ranger- and jumpmaster-qualified.
Peggy W. Rittenberry, Military Science,
was presented the Department of the Army Commander's Award for Public
Service in July for exceptional meritorious service. Rittenberry
plays an integral role in the administration of the Golden Eagle
Battalion. She's known for her meticulous attention to detail and
dedication coupled with professionalism.
