Here’s a chance to indulge your creative side inexpensively.

The Craft Center is continuing its 50 percent discount for faculty, staff and students for September evening and weekend workshops that haven’t already been filled.

Here’s how it works: If you register for a workshop two weeks (or less) before the workshop begins, and there’s still available space, you get 50 percent off the cost of the class. The discount doesn’t apply to supply costs (if any).

September evening workshops:
* Beginning Wheel Throwing (Mondays, 6 to 9 p.m., Sept. 22-Nov. 17, except Oct. 20 because of fall break)
* Beading with Intricacy and Innovation (Tuesdays, 6 to 9 p.m., Sept. 23-Nov. 18, except Oct. 21 because of fall break).

September weekend workshops, Sept. 20-21:
* Basic Blacksmithing
* Form, Surface and Construction (clay)
* Creating a Detailed Pendant: Basics of Beading
* Papermaking from Plant Fibers
* Glass Bead Making.
