WOW 2004 celebrates cultural diversity

Now in its sixth year, our Window on the World festival gives participants a glimpse of cultures from around the globe.

The festival begins with a symposium titled "TTU Goes Abroad" at 11 a.m., Friday, April 16, in the Multipurpose Room, while the rest of the festivities run from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Saturday, April 17, throughout the Roaden University Center. Expect food, cultural displays, craft sales, children's activities, and performances from around the world.

This year's entertainment line-up includes dancers celebrating the traditions of China, West Africa, Ireland, Scotland, Mexico, and more. Performances begin at 11:30 with children's song and dance, and don't end until the 5:30 performance of Tinikling.

Visit www.tntech.edu/wow/ for a full schedule of events. WOW festivals, which are Center Stage events, are free and open to everyone.
