Faculty and other professional researchers are invited to attend the Tennessee EPSCoR Environmental Summit 2005, held on our campus Feb. 16 and 17.

Hosted by the Center for the Management, Utilization, and Protection of Water Resources, the symposium will focus on developing an environmental research infrastructure, advancing environmental technology, and establishing an environmental strategy for Tennessee. Sessions cover the broad themes of air, water, and land, and will be led by representatives from the research community, state and federal agencies, and industry, who will present a broad spectrum of educated opinions on how the state's environmental research should be focused.

Registration is due today and includes a $50 fee, which covers a CD-ROM of abstracts, and a reception and lunch.
